Our Philosophy
We challenge the mainstream train of thought, but don’t intend on trying to derail it. We will, however, tweak its nose a bit in the process of interviewing a wide variety of practitioners including: acupuncture, therapeutic massage and quantum touch energy healing — and then also exploring text and channeled materials dictated through mediums. But, we won’t stop there. We’ll also include interviews with folks that have strategies to help with global warming issues, personal growth hurdles and more.
We plan on having productive discussions about a wide variety of issues — health, personal growth, spiritual aspects, belief systems, how we create our lives and world. Our approach isn’t all reverent and soft spoken though. We plan on having fun, and are willing to poke a little fun at ourselves in the process. Life should be lived with a sense of humor.
Our Host
Gary Joy has been an actor-writer-producer in the Chicago area for over 25 years. He has appeared on stage, TV, radio and toys. In 2005, he entered the world of internet broadcasting with CreatiVoice Inc's first podcast venture, The Casting Couch Radio Show, a fun and informative show for people in the media and entertainment business.
A health crisis in early 2007 led him to think more deeply about mind-body-spirit balance in his own life. And this has led to the launch of AlternativesRadio.com.
